Most peoples' first encounter with Beetlejuice is not their favorite. He comes across as either overly friendly or flippant, rude, and gross. He has no respect for boundaries (physical or emotional) and has a hard time paying attention. His movements are swift and sudden.

Appearance

He has a round face with deep-set yellow eyes, a high forehead, and short facial hair. His hair is wild and dark brown, mostly swept backwards and tinged with green. Algae? Moss? General grave grime? Who knows! The same stuff peppers his skin and clothes despite his return to life. His nails are black and chipped. Beetlejuice is slightly above average height and has a paunch.

His Minotaur traits include two cute, fuzzy cow's ears, big sturdy hooves in place of feet, a swishy striped tail, and two upward-pointing bull horns. His eyes glow as a mark from the 4th God upon his rise to power.

The Fog God has gifted him with sharp pointy teeth.

Beetlejuice has had mixed success with making requests from Mana. So far he has wound up with hair that changes color according to his mood similar to how it does in his canon. He's not wild about it.

Personality

Beetlejuice loves being alive.

As a demon, his existence was frustrating at best and crushingly lonely at worst since he was trapped in obscurity. Now he's back and bolder than ever! He wants to have every human experience. He didn't have true feelings before, so he has some trouble understanding how he's feeling from one moment to the next, but he revels in the experience. As a result, he feels things very strongly--especially anger, thanks to being a Minotaur. But what is anger if not spicy sadness? He swings wildly between being over confidant and very insecure. He's loud in hopes of distracting people from his flaws.

Beetlejuice is very clingy and prone to declaring people he meets as his best friends. He's still mostly versed in the fun parts of friendship and not the hard work it takes to keep a friendship together. Only recently has he realized he feels bad for murdering people. Empathy is a hell of a drug. He's made a vow to be a "good" guy but he still wants all his sex, drugs, and rock and roll. He's a true hedonist and wants everyone around him to be the same and live life to the fullest.

However, he also loves chaos and he loves scaring people. Those parts of his personality will never go away, so watch your back.

Navigation

Minotaurs have the ability to sense the layout of nearby terrain and easily find their way out of and around forests, cave tunnels, and even complex mazes. This includes cities.

Minotaur's Song

Some Minotaurs have a keen ear for music and can pick up on any instrument quickly. The music of a Minotaur will lull nearby humans into a vulnerable, dream-like state.

Strength

Minotaurs are the strongest monsters able to lift 6-7 times more than the average human (compared to 4-5 times for another monster), along with possessing more stamina. They have bull-like legs with a kick strong enough to smash through rock.

Keen Senses

The Minotaur's vision will be very sensitive to any sort of movement, and will be greatly improved at night or in low light conditions. Their hearing will improve as well, and they will be able to detect the direction any given noise came from.

FOG ABILITY: Thrown Voice

Beetlejuice can make his voice eminate from an impressive distance away. He uses this to disorient people and play pranks as well as hunt.

Location & Employment

Beetlejuice has three places he hangs his hat. His main haunt is Apt. 200 at the 38-8's in Bavan. When he's working, BJ sleeps in the staff quarters at the Devil's Nest in Djavulenstad. He is a tier one Fog follower, and has been awarded a small bedroom in Dyster.


For work, the minotaur lends his services to Korra and the Devil's Nest as a bouncer. He also plays a heel in the Monster Wrestling League.
