Beetlejuice: The Musical The Musical The Musical

~*~
⟡ Your character is on an exploration quest when they find an injured Pokemon in need of help. This Pokemon appears to be in distress and is quite dangerous, posing a risk to your character even if they mean well, and putting your quest mission at risk. What do they do? What are some possibilities of how they work with teammates to address this, or do they go at it alone?Who WOULDN'T want a big dangerous Pokemon in their debt? Beetlejuice would have to be sure he's actually able to assist before he starts making deals, because while he has no problem lying, he doesn't want a bigger, more dangerous Pokemon to catch wise and retaliate. He is but a weasel. BJ would more than likely try to pull this if he's alone as to isolate the other Pokemon and manipulate them. If he's with a group he doesn't think he can win over with his Very Good and Smart Idea, he'll actually lean the other way and suggest that the Pokemon is big enough to take care of themself and that they have something important to do. The goal, guys! The goal!
⟡ Your character's worst enemy has recently appeared in game, and has joined the guild your character is part of. They both want to tackle the same quest, and your character's enemy suggests that they work together as a team to accomplish this goal. How does your character respond to this?BJ's current worst enemy is his MOM. If Juno appeared and joined his guild, Beetlejuice would simply throw himself out the nearest window. His pull point is from when she dupes him with kindness so she can grab him and throw him to the sandworms because he's protecting someone she's trying to drag to Hell. He feels strongly about this.
However, Beetlejuice's word is probably not worth much to the Pokemon of Bottlecap Bay, so any smear campaign he'd start against her would probably fall apart. If it's Juno suggesting they work together, Beetlejuice would probably fall for it. He wants her to like him so, so badly. He'd have more experience as a Pokemon than her, so he'd actually be able to teach her something. See, ma! He's not a TOTAL screw-up!
Alternatively, depending on how much development he's gotten and if he's found himself a circle of friends, he might dig his heels in and become a huge pain in the ass. If she hates him so bad, he'll give her a REASON. Even at the cost of the goal. He has no problem making this all about him.
⟡ The leader of your character's guild has just approached your character with an offer: they will provide your character with extra supplies, reputation points, and help them with any of their current struggles. In exchange, they ask for your character to do a favor for them that may harm the other guilds, and will not specify what the favor is in advance. It sounds shady, but it's the deal of a lifetime in your character's path to get back home, and refusing it may cause strife for your character within their current guild. What do they think of this offer? What do they ultimately decide to do?Scoring extra goodies AND screwing over some chumps in the process? Count him in! He wants out of this place and he'll do whatever it takes to get there! No thought given to this, he just does it. Sucks to suck!
If he's got a friend in that guild though, he might try to scheme up a double-cross. He AND his friend win that way! He doesn't seem to anticipate any punishment he'll receive from this. That's a problem for future Beetlejuice.
⟡ Due to shortages on supplies, the city is facing issues deciding where to cut corners during this rough time. Somehow, the responsibility has fallen on your character's shoulders, and they have to make a decision. If they send out an extra team of Pokemon, they will be able to gather more food, and through that, save the lives of dozens of starving Pokemon that were in dire need of nutrition. However, the only Pokemon available to scout for food are those working at the pokeclinic, and sending them out would mean certain death for at least two ill patients. What does your character decide to do? How do they feel about this choice, and how would they deal with the pushback that comes from either side? Here is where it gets interesting. Up until just a few moments before his pull point, he never knew what it meant to be alive. And he's been alive the whole time he's been in this world. He likes being alive, even if he's a stupid weasel. So there's some empathy deep in his heart. The things that would have to have fallen into place to end up with BEETLEJUICE being the one to make the call would guarantee that he's done some growing. He's still very new to it though, so he would go for sending the Pokemon out to scout UNLESS one of the Pokemon guaranteed to die was a friend. Then he'd stick by them. He doesn't have a lot of friends, he's gotta hang onto them. It's a childish mentality, but it is what it is.
